Detailed comparison: LG C9 or Samsung Q90R
The LG C9 is one of the best OLED TVs of its time. It offers superior picture quality, an extremely high contrast, HDMI 2.1 and a very low Time it takes for the input signal to appear on the screen (delay) for gaming. These features make it one of the best TVs available today.
The Samsung Q90R, on the other hand, is one of the best LCD = Liquid Crystal Display - a type of screen using liquid crystals for creating the image TVs on the market. It can handle any task and is particularly suitable for video games, animated films and fast action scenes. However, contrast and viewing angle are not as good as with an OLED TV. But it is much brighter than the LG C9.

Our conclusion: OLED or QLED?
If you are interested in top TVs like the LG C9 or the Samsung Q90R, you naturally ask yourself which TV is the better one. It is a fact that the burn-in factor cannot be taken into account for the C9, since burn-in is hardly a risk with normal usage, as intuitive technologies avoid it.
A simple comparison is difficult because we are dealing with different panels (OLED and Vertical Alignment, type of LCD Panel) with different advantages and disadvantages. The Q90R is considerably brighter, but this results in slightly inaccurate color reproduction. This is highly recommended for very bright rooms with lots of windows, however, the viewing angle is limited. The C9, on the other hand, is better suited for dark rooms, as the black level of OLED TVs is always better. In addition, the viewing angle is much wider.
