So, even though the picture of the U7G is slightly better, when it comes to brightness or contrast, this should still not offer enough added value to make the surcharge worthwhile. However, the gaming features of the U7G might convince some of you to buy it.
The difference is mainly that the U7G uses a 120Hz panel and the U6G only a 60Hz panel. Additionally, the U7G has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, that support a Variable Refresh RateVariable Refresh Rate – synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the output refresh rate of the graphics card and 4K@120Hz. So, Gamers, especially those with one of the newer consoles, should definitely consider the U7G.
The U6G has a better response time
However, there is also one aspect where the U6G does better than the U7G, and that is the response time. It performs marginally better, resulting in a little more precise motion – this plays a big role in fast video games and sports broadcasts.

Well I think the decision between the two TVs can be quite easy.
If you own an Xbox Series X or Playstation 5 then you should get the U7G as you’ll benefit from the upgrade and extra features.
If you’re not a gamer or don’t own one of the new consoles, than the U7G is probably not really worth it. The HDRHigh Dynamic Range – image/video with more dynamic range (contrast range) performance might be a little better, but you won’t see a real difference in SDRStandard Dynamic Range – image/video with a conventional gamma curve (opposite: HDR) – “normal” videos content and sports might even look better on the U6G.
