The Samsung Q50R and Samsung Q60R are on the same level in many respects, especially in terms of design and finish. The contrast is slightly better on the Q60R, but both have no local dimming, so that HDRHigh Dynamic Range – image/video with more dynamic range (contrast range) content is relatively similar. Both the Q50R and Q60R have a 60Hz VAVertical Alignment, type of LCD Panel panel, so that the viewing angle is equally limited. However, this is much less disturbing with the Q60R due to its size. So if you’re looking for the perfect QLED for gaming, you won’t notice any big differences between these two models – except the size. But the Q60R scores slightly better in response time. It is also noticeably brighter and can remove judder.
All in all, the Q60R is in the leading position, also in terms of price, because despite the significant difference in size, both models cost almost the same. So, if you don’t have space problems in the living room, you should definitely choose the Samsung Q60R.
