4K

4K is a resolution standard with a total of 4096 x 2160 pixels and originally came up in the cinema sector. Although the raster difference to UHD is small, it is still present. Nevertheless, both terms are often used synonymously, even though this is not correct when looked at in detail. Since most consumers do not know the actual meaning of “4K”, this term is often used to advertise and promote high-resolution screens.
