VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association )

The abbreviation VESA is used for the Flat Display Mounting Interface standard defined by the Video Electronics Standards Association, or FDMI in short, for attaching TV devices to wall mounts. The two numerical values – for example 600 x 400 – indicate the horizontal and vertical hole spacing of the threads in millimeters.
