HD Ready

“HD Ready” refers to a standard for the screen resolution and, in particular, television sets. A device labeled HD Ready is capable of displaying content with a resolution of 720p, or 1280 x 720 pixels. So it’s a good compromise for those who don’t need an ultra-high resolution picture, but want better picture quality than SD.
