Screen-Tearing
Screen-Tearing is a picture error that can occur either in videos or in games. The annoying effect occurs if the screen and the graphics card are not synchronized with each other, which means that the refresh rate of the display device does not match the frames transmitted by the graphics card. Generally, this circumstance can be the case in both directions and result in content being displayed in a fragmented manner. For example, the upper part of the image then does not match the lower part and the overall result looks “torn” or stair-stepped.
