WOLED (White Organic Light Emitting Diode)

The term is related to the first generation of OLED screens. Unlike conventional OLED TVs, which consist of red, green and blue subpixels, a WOLED TV has white pixels. Subpixel colors in this case are created via special filters. This allows the picture to be displayed brighter and more evenly.
