Image synchronization
With an eye on the cleanest possible visualization of content, image synchronization refers to the matching of individual frames from the graphic card and the display to each other. Different methods like V-Sync, G-Sync or FreeSync can be used to avoid irregularities and thus improve the output. If this exchange is missing, the display can be negatively affected by distorted images or staircase effects and lead to a loss of clarity.
