VRR (Variable Refresh Rate)

With the VRR feature, a short for Variable Refresh Rate, a display is able to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frames provided by the graphics card. This HDMI 2.1 function helps to coordinate the transmitted data with the output on the display. The purpose behind this is to prevent so-called screen tearing and thereby achieve the most accurate, continuous viewing result possible.
