OLED.EX
The technology known as OLED.EX is the successor to the conventional WOLED standard and is more powerful and energy-efficient due to a different composition in the organic material of the pixels.
The second generation of OLED panels
Compared with WOLEDs, screens of this generation have a significant advantage. Instead of hydrogen as an auxiliary in the organic material, the pixels contain so-called deuterium. This increases the efficiency and stability of the light-emitting diodes and achieves higher maximum brightness. “EX” is an abbreviation for evolution and eXperience. Therefore, this type of panel is also often given the prefix “Evo”.
