Stutter

The so-called stutter shows itself by evenly faltering movements of the image content, which appear as if the entire scene was very briefly paused and restarted. The reason is the transmitted frame rate in combination with the response time of a panel. By default, this is 24 frames per second for television broadcasts and motion pictures. As the reaction time of a TV gets faster, the effect becomes more noticeable.
