Dolby Vision
Dolby Vision is a dynamic HDR format for high-quality color and brightness control. This allows the tone curve to change from scene to scene. Theoretically, up to 12 bit color depth and mastering with a maximum brightness of 10000 nits are possible. Practically, however, this advantage cannot be realized because no TV has native 12-bit color output so far, and instead a simulation via the FRC process takes place.
