WiSA (Wireless Speaker and Audio Standard)

The WiSA or Wireless Speaker and Audio Standard is a transmission technology with high playback quality and provides wireless transmission of audio data generated by one source to several speakers. A major advantage of WiSA is the simple and wireless installation as well as latency times that ensure a consistent sound output. Disadvantages are the comparatively small number of supported devices and the susceptibility to interference by other wireless networks.
