SDR (Standard Dynamic Range)

As a distinction to HDR, which means High Dynamic Range, SDR is short for Standard Dynamic Range and is used when the image signal is transmitted in a conventional way, so to speak. In this case, the dynamic range and color gamut are significantly lower. As a result, the overall impression of the image is not as color-intensive and contrasted.
