HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma)

Hybrid Log Gamma simplifies the transmission and distribution of SDR and HDR signals. By using this method, TV broadcasters can implement transmissions via a dedicated signal path, as both formats can be combined. This reduces the amount of data to be carried by the broadcaster. HLG is mainly used for processing 4K content at 100 Hz without compromising picture quality.
