CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp)
CCFL means Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp and refers to an outdated technology used to illuminate LCD screens on older televisions and monitors. CCFL displays use a series of fluorescent lamps located on the sides or back of the screen to light the image on the screen. These light-emitting lamps contain a small amount of mercury vapor and are made to glow by cold-cathode electronics.
