UHD-2 (Ultra High Definition-2)

UHD-2 is a term that refers to the highest resolution of screens for private use so far and is usually also referred to as 8K. Compared to the “simple” UHD, this standard offers an even higher resolution with more pixels per square inch on the panel surface. At this point, however, UHD-2 does not yet play a major role because the amount of content available in this resolution is still quite limited. Apart from that, UHD-2 TVs require a lot of energy.
